Amazon parrot – outside, too cold?

Question by boxergirl: Amazon parrot – outside, too cold?
I have an amazon parrot and he just loves going outside (in his cage) as he is not clipped. I have just bought a good sized outside avairy for him to play in, as im in the UK its now turned quite cold is it still ok to put him outside to play for a while or should it only be when weather is warm?

In the U.K. The weather can change quickly as you know.

If your aviary has a good shelter, (a little hutch inside) then you can put it out on fine days,but at the moment it may be too cold for it if it has not been used to going outside.

For your own peace of mind I would delay putting it outside for a while.
