Question by Pimpgeist Immortal: Can someone please classify this amazon parrot?
He was given to me and he’s cool, although young, he’s got yellow n blue on face and orange blue yellow on wings

I have 2 other cages and thanks for the word of caution I wouldn’t want him to get sick poor Merlyn I’ll move him tonight

    That’s not really the best picture to try to determine exactly which type it may be. But based on what I can see, it looks like it may be a Blue Front. I would suggest you google Blue Fronts, Yellow Napes and Double Yellow Napes, and any other type of Amazon you can find. The sites should have good pictures and use them to compare with what you see, in person, on your bird. Also, based on the picture, a word of caution. It that cage is the one the bird is till living in, you need to get rid of it right away and get a new one. It looks like I see a lot of rust on it. That can be fatal to a bird. It doesn’t happen instantly but over time, every time the bird puts it’s beak on that awful cage, it is ingesting lead and no telling what other harmful metals. Once a bird gets heavy metal poisoning, it is almost always fatal. If not, it’s very expensive to treat and is a long hard road for both you and the bird. Please do a search on “heavy metal poisoning in parrots” and read up on it. A new cage right now can end up being the least money this will cost you in the long run.

    Your bird is a Blue fronted Amazon x or a Festive Amazon,but I would it is a cross bred Blue Fronted Amazon.
