Does the Amazon parrot need a license too?

No for the eclectus. Not sure about the Amazon, it’s not a commonly kept pet so you might need to look into that one. It is possible yo don’t need one. You do need a license to keep most native species of parrots. You local vets & amazon breeders would know.

i own a amazon parrot from a store and you dont need a license for a amazon or a electus i own both
I looked it up on many sites and didn’t find an answer. You need to look it up on local sites for pet license. In US quaker parrots are outlawed in some states because they become a pest if they escape.
i do belive so, contact the dept of enviroment and sustainability here in vic and ask them
